Historic Family Estate

Missy & Sean

Private Estate

Wilmington, Delaware

sophisticated, narrative-driven style blending quiet luxury and bold personality

On their family estate they've called home since 1802, Missy and Sean married in the open-air chapel her uncle built. She wore two couture Monique Lhuillier gowns - one with a custom cape in lieu of a veil - and embraced a bold orange palette inspired by her summers on the Fishers Island. Guests sat on antique benches, sipped craft cocktails named for the couple’s French bulldogs, and dined beneath citrus trees at long tables set with stunning Casa de Perin china.

The night blended black-tie formality with whimsy: guests in bold colors and vintage family furs, uncles in chicken and gorilla costumes (a family tradition), a dramatic tent flip to reveal a parquet dance floor inlaid with custom stars that matched Missy's tattoos, and a getaway in her cousin’s 1969 Ferrari 365GT. It was heritage and statement design in equal measure.

A legacy of Excellence.
