Wait until you see this adorable classic car – you’re going to fall head over heels for it, and the whole wedding! Meet Michelle & Chris: a chic, New England-turned-PA couple. When looking for a venue, they found Buena Vista, Delaware: A Delaware Country Estate in New Castle, DE – it’s a historic Wilmington mansion, complete with greenhouse and a rope swing, and some gorgeous details that have meaning to the couple.
This wedding was not only superficially beautiful, but it was authentic. From the stunning Omega Speedmaster Michelle gave Chris from his birth year, to Chris’s adorable convertible “Figgy” they drove away in together, from the history of their 1840s property, to knowing their caterer’s proceeds go to high school staff members’ college funds, this was a day about family and friends and togetherness.
Michelle and Chris told me they didn’t want anything ostentatious. Instead, they wanted their wedding to be about what’s important to them – the fact that the Proud to Plan team made it such a beautiful (and seamless!) day was the icing on top.
