While in most of the country, 19th and 20th century estates are a rarity, with their lands often sold off for development and houses in disrepair, a gem sits in the Philadelphia suburbs on the Main Line, nestled among still-privately owned mansions and welcoming guests with its turn-of-the-century charm.
Welcome to Gisela & Yas’s Meadowbrook Estate Villanova wedding: a stunning, bohemian, intimate wedding with details galore and rich cultural traditions with friends and family from quite literally all around the globe. The bride and groom got ready in their respective wings of the house before departing for their Villanova Chapel wedding ceremony – the dream of so many ‘Nova graduates.
After the beautiful mass and a grad exit with all their guests, the two enjoyed an indoor and outdoor cocktail hour around the grounds of Meadowbrook Estate, and kicked off their reception with a first dance in the living room before transitioning to the greenery-clad formal dining room (look. at. that. fireplace!) The speeches were genuine, the food was to die for, and the dancing was plentiful for a relaxed Saturday afternoon wedding.
